Games are plenty these days. You can choose from the most elaborate genres to the easiest ones. RTS (Real Time Strategy), FPS (First Person Shooter), MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) are some examples of the games that require sophisticated strategy and player interaction. On the other hand, casual games like Candy Crush, Bounce Ball, and 3D Bowling use straightforward rules, hence the name, “casual.”
Here, we will explore two complex games and one casual game. This selection is based on the enjoyment that the game can bring to your idle time. Please try each of the suggestions and let us know what you think!
Critical Ops
Critical Ops is quite straightforward to play. It is a multiplayer FPS game that let you play as either a counter-terrorist or the terrorist. As for the weapons and in-game accessories, they are purchasable by credits. And the best thing about this feature is that you can gain the credits by watching ads. However, the game itself will not ruin your fun with interruptive ads.
If you are a die-hard FPS fan, you may have thought one game that sounds pretty similar with Critical Ops. And if Counter-Strike is the one that you have had in mind, then you are correct! Critical Ops take Counter-Strike as its primary inspiration, but with much better graphics and special effects. Moreover, you can play Critical Ops on PC or smartphone, which makes this game even more perfect to kill time.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Bethesda, a well-known game developer, owed their reputation to the Elder Scrolls series. However, the one that skyrocketed the company’s name was the fifth series, Skyrim. It is an open-world game with approximately 150 to 200 hours of playtime. The environment is vast, the quests are countless, and the equipment varieties will never allow you to get bored to play the game.
As for the game’s plot, you will enter the fantasy world of Tamriel as a Dragonborn, a warrior that can speak the language of dragons. You will be entangled with the world’s politics, and you have to choose which side you will be on, the Imperial Soldiers or the Stormcloaks. Along the way, your main quest is to reveal the secrete behind the resurrections of ancient dragons who give threats to the Tamriel’s populace. Moreover, there are DLCs (Downloadable Contents) that allow you to play other storylines. They involve vampire-hunting, assassination, and fighting a former Dragonborn.
Getting Over It
What is exciting about this game is its frustrating gameplay that will test your mettle and your tactical mind to their limits. You will play as Diogenes, a shirtless man whose lower body part resides in a cauldron and is enable to move only by moving his Yosemite hammer to grab onto the nearest object.
The thing about this game is that no checkpoints are available. If you fail a move and fall, you will have to repeat the whole game from the beginning. It will give you just enough bits of frustration and addiction, which are perfect to play during your leisure.
